One week later… (sorry guys!)… we’ve finally got the brand new Milk clothing and accessories online and ready to go! That’s right, Milk – one of Japan’s oldest, rarest and most highly-regarded Harajuku fashion brands! There’s a gorgeous selection of fun skirts, comfy and flattering dresses, socks, cropped tees and more. Everything is perfect for the summer weather that’s just around the corner.
As for me, I’ve already bought myself one of the to-die-for Assorted Choco Skirts and worn it out three times! I’ll have to upload an outfit snap soon as I just can’t seem to stop wearing it.
And what’s more, every single Milk purchase comes with a free black or pink pochette! They’re totally cute and big enough to fit all your essentials. You could use them as make-up bags, pencil cases, jewellery holders – anything you like. We can’t decide which colour we like best!

There are SO many cute items in Jessica’s perfectly put-together mint and pink co-ordinate, we don’t even know where to begin! She’s wearing a Chewy Candy necklace, a Twee Little Tea Pot brooch, two Sparkly Sugar Clips in the BIG! and mini size, and the ever-popular Cosmos Leggings (which are unfortunately sold out! But don’t worry, there are more on the way. If you haven’t already, let us know the colour you’d be interested in!)
We love the way mint and pink looks with her brunette asymmetrical bob! So cute! And her bright green eyes match that cardigan perfectly. *_*

Here’s a close-up of the Chewy Candy neckace and Twee Pot brooch. Don’t forget, there’s a matching bracelet for the Chewy Candy necklace which you can check out here! It’s one of our favourites. <3
And in keeping with the mint and pink theme, here’s a fun co-ordinate for today. Totally perfect for summer, don’t you think? Thanks Jessica for sending in your inspirational pictures. Keep ‘em coming girls! This is so much fun!

UPDATE: We’re sorry we didn’t come through on uploading the Milk stock this week. It’s been a hectic one! Hopefully we’ll be ready to go after the weekend. (I just wish the weather wasn’t so nice when I have to work!)

Boy, the cuties just keep on popping up around here! Our latest lovely lady is Miss Kika, artist extraordinaire and Delilah devotee! We think she looks like so chic and sweet in her Delilah Glamour Girl dress, with the Metamorphose cardigan in black plus adorable Chocomint and Electric Alice accessories! She sent us these pictures taken by the super sweet Stephiee (pictured below, with pink and purple hair!)
She also creates and exhibits various kinds of girl art. We fell in love with this series! Sadly it’s sold out… but it’s easy to see why. <3

Here she is again with her candy-coloured friends. I want to collect them all! I love how they’re all wearing big puffy hairbows. :3
If you want to get Miss Kika’s look, we put together this little co-ordinate using items still left in store right now. The Glamour Girl dress looks just as exquisite in aqua blue and would look killer with a big sparkly 6% Doki Doki hairbow and some Kewpie Heels from Irregular Choice!

The fashion and music of the 50s ain’t dead, it’s undead! Sydney’s Black Cherry Club recently celebrated it’s 4th birthday with a “Day of the Dead” theme. We love Rockabilly culture. All the polka dots, big hair, kooky prints and big skirts are just too much fun to resist! (And remember when we found these Rockabillies in Japan?) So naturally, we booked out tickets and danced up a storm, among a fantastic mix of poodle skirts, burlesque acts, pompadour quiffs and red lipstick – mixed in with gothic colours, skull accessories and Day of the Dead makeup.

Rockabilly is actually quite an easy look to pull off for the seasoned Lolita, especially if you’re more into the gothic side of things. You’ve already got the full-skirted dresses, the petticoats and the big hair extensions, and there’s a good chance you’ve got a Lolita dress that’s designed in the classic 50s halterneck shape. Then it’s simply a matter of popping on a pair of peep-toe heels, a leopard-print cardi, a slick of eyeliner and a swipe of red lipstick! And even if you don’t have a halterneck dress, many Lolita “jumperskirt” dresses have straps held on with buttons, so you can easily unbutton them completely and pin them around your neck.

But if you’re in a pinch for the perfect outfit that’s ready to go right now, we’ve got you sorted! Take a look:

Spotted, Katy Perry wearing Angelic Pretty!
Katy Perry has joined the likes of Lil Kim and Lady Gaga and is featured wearing a lolita co-ordinate.

I am not a true lolita myself but I am told this is frowned apon within the lolita community. I’m guessing it’s the fact that Katy is in ‘costume’ for the day and her fame is commercialising the dress and lolita style? Either way I am a big fan, think she is a complete babe in lolita and only wish I could pull off what she is caught wearing!

Our MILK shipment just arrived and the second I saw this Confetti Hearts Silkm Skirt, of course Katy Perry jumped into my head. She is famous for her blue smurfette hair and colourful clothing palette, so this co-ordinate was meant for her!

So what does everyone think about Katy Perry wearing lolita?
