You may have heard us mention the very lovely Miss Bei Badgirl over the years for her amazing makeup artistry and cupcake baking skills. Well, not only is Bei super talented at these serious kawaii skills, she is also the most amazing artist!

Bei Badgirl is the cutest kawaii mermaid princess on tumblr, and has exhibited internationally. Her style is a sweet blend of street art and pop art, and she loves to depict kawaii babes who are cute and a little bit naughty. She does the most amazing cut out paintings and paste ups! Currently, her latest work is part of the My Little Pony Project in LA! And next week, she is jetting off to the UK to participate in Superpopmagicshow!

Sometimes, it’s hard to tell the difference between Miss Badgirl’s art and the merbabe herself! Bei loves things kawaii and bad-ass, and if she’s digging something, it’s bound to appear in her art at some point! Her tumblr is just amazing! Personally, I love Bei’s work because it shows us that it’s okay to be cute and have attitude at the same time! Plus, I use her motto “just stay cute and don’t worry!” as a mantra everyday.

Currently, Bei is based in Australia and she really wants to meet her fans in the US! And the good news is that we can help her! Bei has a good chance of winning Pedestrian.tv’s bachelorette of the year award and a trip to New York!! We think you should go vote for her! Go on, you know you want to! We have some super exciting news!! Do you remember our blog post about the super kawaii Kumamiki? Well Kuma is a kawaii designer, specialising in quirky-cute fairy kei accessories…

…..and we are helping her launch her label, Party Baby, internationally!

We want to give a big shout out to our friends Sweet Streets LA and the Tokyo Fashion for helping make this possible!

You may have seen Kuma reblog a mazillion times on Tumblr- and rightly so! She is absolutely adorable. Just look at her amazing  hair!!! ;A;

And look at how perfect she is, frolicking around Tokyo:

Kawaaaaaiiiiii~! Kuma perfectly captures the essence of Harajuku fashion, and as you can see she looks fabulous in both 6% Doki Doki gear and Party Baby! Even her giraffe has a milky way clip!

Horray for cuteness! We can’t decide which accessory is our favourite!!!!  One things for sure, they look amazing on Kuma!

At the moment she’s experimenting with frizzy bleach blonde hair extensions, but she’s had practically every hair colour under the sun – usually in a cute bob or pixie cut! She often pairs this with dolly eye make-up, platform sneakers and pink, blue or yellow-themed clothing and accessories from 6% Doki Doki, Superlovers, Galaxxy, Monomania and more. She also loves animals and animal print. She sometimes even pins soft toys on to her sneakers or hair, and even uses a stuffed animal-shaped bag! You can check out more outfits on her blog, here.

She loves mixing bright colours and wacky accessories to make adorably offbeat outfits, usually with her friends Kuma Miki and Junnyan. Here’s a goofy picture of her with Junnyan (below)  snapped by our favourite Harajuku resource Tokyofashion.com!

Best of all, Kurebayashi isn’t afriad to accessorise with her snaggle-toothed smile. Actually in Japan, if you have teeth that stick out a bit – especially the “canine” teeth or “fangs” – they’re considered SUPER cute. They call this “yaeba” (やえば）meaning “double tooth” and some girls even undergo surgical procedures to achieve the look! *_* So  if (like me) you’re worried about your snaggle-tooth, stop worrying, cos they’re officially kawaii. ^_^

In Kera magazine she models all kind of styles, even Lolita! It’s almost hard to recognise her on the left there, with the blonde wig and blue Angelic Pretty dress. What a doll! ^_^

So of course, we have to finish off any style icon post with ideas on how you can achieve this look for yourself! All of these items are in store RIGHT NOW, with the exception of the Doki Doki dress and the sneakers. All you’d need to complete this look is a big furry jacket or printed zip-up hoodie!

Pot is the cream-coloured Pomeranian and Pan is chocolate. “Pot on her own tends to be the more quiet one of the pair and is usually shy when you first meet her. Her most cherished possession is her stuffed teddy bear. Pan is very mischievous and loves to do the things puppies usually do like ripping through your sock drawer and playing fetch. He also likes Pot very much.”

Valentine’s Day is coming up… but don’t worry if you’re single, unromantic or just not a fan of the whole thing, because we think Valentine’s Day is more of a celebration of all things pink, sweet and cute! (I know, I know, we think that about pretty much everything… but hey, that’s why we’re here!)

Today’s style icon is Kumamiki, photographed for TokyoFashion.com, the gorgeous pastel-coloured Harajuku fashion designer! She has created her own fairy-kei label, Party Baby. (In fact, we were recently asked if we’d stock her creations, so let us know if you like them!) But what we’re excited about right now is how cute she looks in the pastel-perfect ‘Wish on a Shooting Star’ necklace that ONLY we have in stock, right now!
